What we look for
- A clear job in the routine.
- Ease of use and realistic everyday practicality.
- Whether a simpler or no-cost option could work just as well.
- Whether the recommendation can be explained without exaggerated claims.
- Whether the item fits the specific reader problem rather than being added as filler.
First-hand experience
We only describe a product as owned, tested or personally used when that is true. Otherwise, the recommendation is an editorial selection based on available product information and the role the item may serve.
Changing product information
Prices, availability, specifications and listings can change. We avoid presenting changeable product details as permanent facts and update recommendations when we become aware that they are no longer useful or accurate.
